Serena Williams is getting set to wed her match, Alexis Ohanian, cofounder of Reddit, after announcing their engagement in December. And though the tennis pro previously said she hasn't given her impending nuptials that much thought—you know, since she was a little preoccupied with being the a tennis superstar—it seems she's finally prepping to put down her racquet (just for a minute) in favor of a bouquet. The champion may have dropped a major hint about an important aspect of her big day, via a very telling photo shared to Instagram Sunday.
The mysterious pic features a pretty swath of a tulle-like fabric trimmed with an intricate lace, which seems to be cascading down from the head of someone wearing a white floor-length gown. It's impossible to tell who's actually wearing the dress and to make out any design elements from the shot, but based on that veil, the ensemble looks like a grand slam to us. Williams captioned the photo "Romantic lace. Very pretty. #inspired #fashion."
Of course, in addition to dominating the court, Williams is an accomplished fashion designer, so it's certainly possible that she really is just sharing a particularly inspirational veil with her followers. Only time will tell whether this pretty bridal outfit makes it down any aisles in the near future.
Williams previously shared a glimpse of her stunning engagement ring with the world via Reddit—though she also seemed to have a lot of fun trolling us all with a fake photo of a ring topped with a delicious-looking taco first. So this wedding dress hint could all be a hoax. And for that matter, she told the world the story of her proposal via the social media site, too. We'd be willing to bet that if there are any more updates about the Queen of the Court's wedding dress, Reddit is where we'll find them.
